Girls Weekend in Dallas: Where We Ate

Hello friends! I spent this past weekend trying new restaurants, shopping, and getting nails done in Dallas with my mom and sisters. We go to Dallas often but tend to stick to the restaurants we know we like. However, this time we decided to venture out and try some new places. I’m sharing the places we ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at!

Outfit: suede pants // sweater // jacket (similar) // purse // Dolce Vita booties (similar)

Breakfast: Coffee House Cafe

Coffee House Cafe offers gluten-free pancakes, which were delicious and the reason we went. I ordered the fresh garden vegetable omelet, one pancake on the side, and an almond milk latte. The latte was delicious but a little too sweet for me, but they do sweeten their coffee with pure cane sugar!

Lunch: Modern Market

Modern Market was such a good lunch spot and I will definitely be back. They have their macros on the menu and printed on your receipt after you pay, which is a plus. Their gluten-free pizza crust is so good, we questioned if it was even gluten free! I ordered the chicken breast homestyle plate which came with chicken, mashed sweet potato, and a side salad, and we shared a cheese pizza.

Dinner: Villa-O

Villa-O is an organic Italian restaurant that offers gluten-free pasta and pizza. I ordered grilled chicken with a side of broccoli, and we shared two pizzas. Do you think we ate enough pizza this weekend? Their pizza was probably my favorite from the weekend, but honestly every place we went was so good.

Do the restaraunts you mentioned above use halal meat or would I have to order vegetarian options?

Hi! All but Coffee House Cafe are organic, but none of them are halal unfortunately. However they have great salads and other vegetarian options! 🙂
