Hi friends, I hope you all are having a great Saturday! For those of you that are new to my blog and don’t know me, I am a senior at Texas A&M University and yesterday I got my Aggie class ring! A class ring is a big deal at the university I go to, or at least we all make it that way lol. I’ll explain what a class ring is and tell you a bit about the day!
What is a class ring?
I got so many questions on Instagram asking what a class ring even is! After you complete 45 class hours at A&M and 90 total college hours, you get to order your class ring. I know most universities have class rings, but if you’re an Aggie you basically never take it off. Ever. It’s a visible symbol that you went to A&M and everyone really treasures their Aggie ring.
My family drove to College Station yesterday to spend the day with me and I’m so grateful for them. It’s cheesy to say, but they really are my best friends. When they got into town, we went to eat lunch and then went to take pictures and get my ring. My dad put my ring on!
